The Christchurch School of Music is very excited that the Youth Orchestra has been invited to attend the Australian Festival of Youth Orchestras in December. It will be a wonderful opportunity for these young performers to share their talents, play alongside all of Australia's youth orchestras and represent NZ at this prestigous event. The players have been working hard to prepare for this event where they will perform in the Festival and present a public concert fund-raising for the restoration of the gothic bell at St Pauls Church. They are busy fund-raising for their fares and accommodation but would love your help! $4000 will reduce the costs by $100 per player which will enable them to spend more time rehearsing and preparing for the concerts.
